How do I book a session?
Send me an inquiry through my contact page with a little information about what you’re looking for! We’ll chat about your vision, location, timing, and all the details before officially getting you on my calendar.
How much does a session cost?
Every session is a little different! Pricing can vary depending on the type of session, location, length of coverage, and what you’re looking for. Once I know a little more about what you have in mind, I’ll send you a personalized quote.
What types of sessions do you photograph?
I photograph families, couples and engagements, maternity, newborns, seniors, milestones, small weddings, business headshots, and more. If you have something special in mind that you don’t see listed, reach out—I’d love to hear about it!
Where are you located? Do you travel?
I’m based in East Michigan and photograph sessions throughout the surrounding area, and in my home studio. Have somewhere specific in mind? Send it my way! Travel outside my typical area may include an additional travel fee.
What should we wear?
Don’t stress about this part! I’m happy to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and coordinate without feeling overly matched. Neutrals, soft colors, textures, and pieces you feel comfortable in are always a great place to start.
What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
You do not need to know how to pose—that’s my job! I’ll guide you throughout your session while also giving you space to interact naturally. My goal is for your photos to feel like you, not like you spent an hour holding stiff poses.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
That’s okay! Kids are kids, and I never expect them to perform perfectly for the camera. We’ll play, move around, take breaks when needed, and work with their personalities instead of against them. Sometimes the chaos creates my favorite photographs.
What happens if it rains?
Michigan weather loves to keep us guessing. If the weather looks like it could interfere with your session, we’ll make a plan together. Depending on the session, we may adjust the location or timing, embrace a little weather, or reschedule when necessary.
How many photos will I receive?
The number of final images varies depending on your session. I carefully select and edit the strongest photographs from our time together so your final gallery tells the full story without being filled with unnecessary duplicates.
